  1. To take advantage of the On Location files supplied on the CD:
  2.  
  3. 1- Load the On Location DA (not supplied on this version of The Reference and Presentations Library CD) into your System using Font/DA Mover.
  4.  
  5. 2- Put the following into your System Folder:
  6.     OL Startup file
  7.     OL Updater file        
  8.     OL File Kinds file    
  9.     Claris folder
  10.  
  11. 3- Restart your Macintosh.
  12.  
  13. 4- Choose "On Location" from the Apple Menu.
  14.  
  15. 5- Click on the Apple Ref. & Pres. Library CD volume in the On Location window to search.
  16.  
  17. 6- Select either Filename or Text from the On Location window.
  18.  
  19. 7- Choose how to match your search ("Contains", "Matches exactly", etc.) from the On Location window.
  20.  
  21. 8- Type the search text.
  22.  
  23. 9-The list will show the items that match the search text.
  24.  
  25. 10- Double click on any item in the list to view that file.
